Bläse Chess Table is handmade on Gotland, where each top is cut with an angle grinder and brushed to enhance the wood’s unique texture. The blasted checkerboard pattern is created meticulously — each square is exposed at the right depth and intensity to create clear contrast without damaging the wood surface. This delicate process requires precision, patience, and experience.
All joints between top and legs are finely sanded to create a seamless expression. Despite its compact size, the table feels solid and substantial — a natural focal point in any room.
