The Gothem series stems from G.A.D’s core values: uncompromising craftsmanship, respect for the natural qualities of the materials, and a design language that combines contemporary and timeless elements. The 2-seater version is not a scaled-down model — it’s a full-fledged piece in its own right, with just as much thought given to proportions, comfort, and construction.
The seat and back cushions are generously padded and hand-upholstered — providing enveloping comfort that lasts. The shape fits both homes with classic interiors and more contemporary settings where materials and lines speak for themselves.
Each sofa is handcrafted from solid oak or birch, with wood carefully selected and attention to detail evident in every cut and joint. The slightly flared legs and sweeping wooden armrest give a distinctive silhouette, while the sofa feels open thanks to the design of the backrest.
