Unlike closed cabinets, Klinte 6 is designed to highlight its contents: ceramics, glassware, books, or crafts. The two glass doors allow light to enter, giving the piece a sense of lightness, while the solid wood frame, recessed hinges, and hand-sanded finish convey a feeling of reliable presence.
Vitrinen tillverkas för hand i massiv björk eller ek i G.A.D:s verkstad på Gotland. Varje fog är sammanpassad med snickarens blick för precision, och glaset monteras in för hand. Dörrarna öppnas med en smal, diskret greppkant och stängs mjukt mot trästommen. De justerbara hyllplanen gör det enkelt att anpassa möbeln efter innehåll.
